01
General
Most standard residential installs take two to four hours from arrival to working Wi-Fi. Simple pitched-roof mounts with a short cable run can finish in under two hours. Tile roofs, attic runs, pole mounts, and complex two-story homes can push closer to four. Either way, we plan for a single-visit install and do not leave until the dish is aligned, the app shows clean obstructions, and your Wi-Fi is configured and tested.
No. You order the Starlink kit directly from Starlink so you own the hardware and the account. We install the kit you supply. We can help you decide which kit to buy — Standard, Mini, Flat High Performance, Business, Roam, or Maritime — based on the install location, but the order goes through your Starlink account.
Six mount types cover nearly every Orange County install: pitched roof, flat roof ballast, non-penetrating J-mount, chimney mount, pole mount, and eave or gable mount. On-site we walk the roof, run the obstruction scan, and recommend the mount that gives you the cleanest line of sight with the least roof impact.
Yes. Tile roofs are common in Orange County and we install on them every week. Our preferred method is a non-penetrating J-mount or ballast mount that rests above the tile without cracking it. Where a penetration is required, we use tile-specific flashing and seal every layer so the roof stays watertight. We carry replacement tiles for the most common OC profiles in case one cracks during the walk.
Yes. We install Starlink Roam and Mini on Class A, Class C, Airstream, and fifth-wheel RVs, and Maritime kits on marina slips, sport fishers, and sail yachts. Mounts can be permanent or quick-disconnect depending on how you want to use the dish. Marine installs use corrosion-resistant hardware and sealed cable pass-throughs.
Standard residential installs start at $699 flat-rate. That covers the on-site survey, obstruction scan, dish mount (pick one of six mount types), cable routing up to 75 ft, weather sealing, Wi-Fi configuration, and a 30-minute walkthrough. Add-ons like attic runs, pole installs, and complex roofs are quoted up front during the survey so there are no billing surprises.
Yes. We cover all 34 cities in Orange County from Seal Beach to San Clemente, and from the coast through the canyons. Same-week scheduling is standard. Travel charges do not apply within the county — one published flat rate regardless of which OC city you are in.
Every install includes a full Wi-Fi configuration: router placement, SSID and password setup, Starlink app pairing, firmware check, and a live speed test. We also walk you through the app so you know how to run obstruction scans, reboot the dish, and monitor uptime. For larger homes we can add a secondary mesh node as an add-on during the on-site quote.
Yes. Every install comes with a workmanship warranty covering the mount, penetrations, cable routing, and weather sealing. The Starlink hardware itself is warrantied directly by Starlink under your account, so if the dish or router ever has a hardware fault you deal with Starlink support for a replacement. We will help you diagnose and can come back to re-mount a replacement unit.
Yes. If your current install is in the wrong spot, has intermittent obstructions, or was installed by someone who is no longer available, we can relocate it. We run a fresh obstruction scan, pick a better mount location, remove the old hardware, patch and seal the previous penetration, and re-install cleanly. Relocations are priced during the on-site assessment.

Install Process
We arrive with tools, ladders, cable, mounts, and sealant — you supply the Starlink kit. First we walk the roof and run an obstruction scan from the intended mount point. Once the location is confirmed, we install the mount, run cable to your chosen router location, seal every penetration, power the dish, pair it to the app, and configure Wi-Fi. Before we leave, we run a live speed test and walk you through the app for about 30 minutes.
We use the official Starlink app to run a point-based obstruction scan from every candidate mount location. The scan builds a 12-hour sky map so we can see exactly where satellites will be blocked by trees, neighbors, chimneys, or antennas. We never guess. If no roof location clears obstructions, we discuss pole or mast options during the survey.
Yes. Federal OTARD rules protect your right to install a satellite antenna on property under your exclusive use, but HOAs and landlords often have legitimate placement preferences. We can do non-penetrating ballast mounts that leave no roof damage, removable pole mounts for tenants, and low-visibility placements for HOA-sensitive streets. Tell us the constraints at booking and we will plan around them.

Pricing
Hourly pricing punishes you for a slow technician and rewards us for lingering. Flat-rate works the other way: we quote the job up front, and if a cable run takes an extra 30 minutes, that is on us, not you. Standard residential installs start at $699 with transparent add-ons for attic runs, pole mounts, or complex roofs.
On-site survey, obstruction scan, dish mount (choose one of six mount types), cable routing up to 75 ft, weather sealing of all penetrations, router placement and Wi-Fi configuration, a 30-minute app walkthrough, full cleanup, and a workmanship warranty on the install.
Attic cable runs, pole or ground mounts, complex or multi-story roof access, and secondary Wi-Fi access points or mesh nodes. Each is priced during the on-site survey before work begins, so the invoice never exceeds the quote.
No deposit. Payment is due after the install is complete and tested. We accept card, check, and bank transfer.

Mount Types
Six: pitched roof mount, flat roof ballast mount, non-penetrating J-mount, chimney mount, pole mount, and eave or gable mount. Each has different tradeoffs for roof impact, line of sight, and wind loading. On-site we recommend the option that gives you the cleanest view with the least roof alteration.
Yes. Our preferred tile-roof method is a non-penetrating J-mount or ballast that rests above the tile. When a penetration is required, we use tile-specific flashing and seal every layer so the roof stays watertight. We stock replacement tiles for the most common OC profiles in case one cracks during the walk.
Yes. Non-penetrating ballast mounts and weighted J-mounts hold the dish firmly using engineered weight alone. These are ideal for flat roofs, tile roofs, rentals, and HOA-sensitive properties. We verify the mount meets wind-load requirements for your location.
Pole mounts solve tree-line obstructions that no roof location can clear. We set a concrete footing, bond the pole for lightning protection, run conduit to the house, and mount the dish at a height that clears the canopy. Pole installs are quoted per site.

Service Area
All 34 incorporated cities in Orange County, plus unincorporated canyon and coastal areas within the county. Coastal, inland, canyon, gated, coastal bluffs, and marina installations are all routine. We do not charge a travel fee within the county.
No. We stay inside Orange County so we can deliver same-week scheduling and keep one published flat rate. If you are just outside OC, we can refer you to installers in our extended network.
Yes. Short-term rentals, vacation homes, and investor properties are common installs for us. We coordinate with property managers or cleaners for access and deliver the same warranty as any residential install.
06
RV, Marine, and Relocations
Yes. We install Starlink Roam and Mini on Class A, Class C, Airstream, fifth-wheel, and trailer rigs. Mounts can be permanent roof installs or quick-disconnect mounts that let you bring the dish inside for travel. We run DC power from the house battery or 12V system as appropriate.
Yes. We install Starlink Maritime on sport fishers, sail yachts, and motoryachts at marina slips throughout OC (Newport, Dana Point, Huntington Harbour, Sunset). We use corrosion-resistant stainless hardware and seal every through-hull properly.
Yes. If your current dish is in the wrong spot, has intermittent obstructions, or was installed poorly, we can relocate it. We re-scan, re-mount in a better location, patch and seal the previous penetration, and re-pair to the app. Relocations are priced during the on-site assessment.
07
Warranty and Support
Yes. Every install includes a workmanship warranty on the mount, penetrations, cable routing, and weather sealing. If a seal leaks or a mount shifts because of our work, we come back and fix it. The Starlink hardware itself is warrantied directly by Starlink under your account.
Starlink handles hardware warranty claims directly through your account in the Starlink app. If you get a replacement unit, call us and we will come out to swap the hardware into the existing mount. Simple replacements are a small flat fee.
Yes. If coverage is weak in part of the house, we can come out, measure signal at each room, and add a mesh node or access point as needed. Most homes do well with the single Starlink router; larger or multi-story homes sometimes want a second node.
