Residential Install FAQ
Do I need to buy the Starlink kit myself?
Yes. You purchase the Starlink kit directly from Starlink. We handle the installation, mounting, cable routing, and network configuration.
How long does a residential install take?
Most residential installs are 2–4 hours. Complex cable runs, pole mounts, or multi-story exterior routing can take longer — we quote additional time up front.
Can you install on a tile roof?
Yes. Tile roofs need a non-penetrating ballast mount or a specialized tile hook. We pick the right option for your roof and your HOA (if any).
Do you drill through the roof?
Only when it is the right call and with your approval. Non-penetrating ballast and J-mount options are available for tile, rentals, and HOA-sensitive homes.
Will the cable be visible?
Not if we can help it. We route through the attic, soffit, or existing conduit whenever possible. Exterior runs use color-matched flex conduit.
