Marine Install FAQ

Do you install Starlink Maritime?

Yes. We install Maritime and Flat High Performance on sailboats, powerboats, sportfishers, and yachts. Both handle motion and salt air far better than the standard dish.

Can you install at my slip?

Yes. We service slips in Newport Harbor, Dana Point, Huntington Harbour, and most OC marinas. Dock access, insurance, and marina rules handled in advance.

What mount works best on a boat?

Radar arch and hardtop mounts are the most common. For sailboats, masthead or backstay mounts are options, each with tradeoffs — we walk you through during the site visit.

Will salt air damage the hardware?

Maritime-tier Starlink hardware is rated for it. The mount itself is what fails first on other installs — we use 316 stainless and marine sealant so your rig does not corrode at the base.

Can we run it underway?

Yes. Maritime and Roam-with-in-motion tiers support underway use. We confirm your service plan and set the firmware accordingly.
